We will join together at the Desert Willow Golf Resort on March 8th at 5:00 PM for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on
the patio, followed by dinner, and dancing. As a highlight of the evening, we will be honoring a special member of
our community, centenarian Helen Varon. Entertainment will be provided by Chris Lomeli and his musical trio.

Abraham Joshua Heschel wrote that we must attempt to celebrate more, rather than settle for being passively
entertained. He reminded us that celebration implies activity, expressing reverence and appreciation. On March 8th,
Desert Outreach Synagogue offers you a unique opportunity for both. We promise you an event that is both
meaningful and celebratory. Please join us!
All Blessings,
